How to Limit User Access to Selected Channel
Use Case: I have five channels and I want each sales agent to access only one channel. Therefore, I can assign:
- Channel A to Agent A
- Channel B to Agent B
This way, Agent A is not able to view Channel B, and Agent B is not able to view Channel A.
Step 1: Hover your cursor to the left navigation bar, then hover it to “Settings”, then click on “Team”.
Step 2: Go to team members you want to limit access to, then click on “Manage Access”:
Step 3: Go to Account Access - Untick “read all available accounts”: 👇🏻
Step 4: Go to Chat Access - Tick all of them: 👇🏻
Step 5: Go to Channel Access - Tick the channel you want to allow access for the certain users: 👇🏻
