How to Add Custom Field with CSV
Step 1:
Hover to CRM, then click on “Contacts”.
Step 2:
Click on the “Import” button.
Step 3:
Click “Download Template Here” to download the default CSV template. If you have an existing CSV file to upload, click “Select Or Drag CSV Here”.
Additionally, you have the option to choose the channel through which to import this contact.
Step 4:
In the CSV, add an additional column next to the default column as “custom field”
Step 5:
After uploading the CSV, click on “Preview”
Step 6:
Select the column for the custom field, then click 'Add Contact'. After this, the import will be completed.
How to apply a custom field in a message template
You can create a message template with a custom field and send it to your customers.

For example,
Hi {{name}}, May I know your order color is {{color}}? * Please note: your messages variable text needs to be the same as the custom field column in CSV, here the custom fields are: name and color
