How to Use App Buttons

Use Case: To create a shortcut button in the contact info to direct access to the desired webpage.

Step 1:

Go to ChatDaddy’s page, click the “Inbox” select and specific message/chat.

Step 2:

After selecting a specific message, click the contact name to view contact info.

Step 3:

Then click to expand the “App Buttons”

Step 4:

(i) Click on the “+” icon to add new app button.

Note: The available contact properties are for user to substitute in the URL by enclosing the name of the property in double curly braces. e.g. https//url.com/?phoneNumber={{phoneNumber}}

(ii) After done, click “Add” to confirm setup.

Step 5: For existing app button, user can click on the pen icon to edit its settings. User can click on the trash icon to delete the app button
