Why does Broadcast fail to send?
Broadcast messages fail to be sent, there are few things to note:
- Failed message “The recipient is not on WhatsApp” It could be due to invalid phone number or phone number without a country code
- The channel used to do broadcast has been disconnected or inactive Please ensure the channel is connected and active, rescan QR to reconnect.
- For Broadcast that sends from a normal Whatsapp account or business account: - The message templates used for the broadcast must not contain button with URL or button with phone number. - Please enable the “Send Button Messages as a Poll” under [Manage Channels]
How to check for other failed reasons?
- On the Navigation Menu, go to [Automation] > [Broadcasts].
- From the broadcast list, click on the specific Broadcast campaign that you want to check its failed reasons.
- Below Analytics, click [View List] next to “Failed”.
- Click on a recipient’s phone number to open the chat. You will see the failed reasons stated next to the broadcast message in red. Refer to the help doc below for more information:
