Why does the status of previously read messages turn back to unread every time I rescan the QR code?

When a QR code is rescanned using the same phone number, the read status will not be cleared. As a result, the messages that were previously marked as "read" will be considered "unread" again. This behavior can lead to the accumulation of multiple unread messages each time the QR code is rescanned with the same phone number.

As a solution, you may use our bulk action mark as read to mark multiple messages as “read”.
