How to Auto-Assign New Chats in ChatDaddy
Use Case:
To auto-assign new chats to team members in ChatDaddy.
Step 1: In the top right corner, click the user menu icon and select “Manage Channels”.

Step 2: Click on the drop-down 🔻 menu button to show [Advance Options]:

Step 3: Next to “Auto Assign Incoming Chats”. click to see a drop down.
You can now select 3 new options “Disabled”, “Smart Assign”, “Round Robin Assign”

Disabled - Settings with this status means the auto assign feature is turned off.
Smart Assign - System will auto assign chats to the person with the least assignment.
Round Robin Assign - Assignment will be assigned in turn one by one. (ie. If there are 4 team members selected to be auto assigned, each of them will take turn to be assigned by the system)

Step 4: Once enabled the settings, you can select the team members that you want to auto assign chats.
Exit the “Manage Channels” window after done setting.
