How to use Delay Message Function in Message Flow on ChatDaddy
Use case: Users will be able to learn on how to use delay message function in message flow and send out messages in delayed time according to their own desire. Step 1: On ChatDaddy’s page, hover your cursor over the Navigation Bar to “Automation”, and then click on “Message Flows”.

Step 2: On [Message Flows] page itself, users can click on existing message flow to add [Delay Message], or can choose to create a new message flow by simply clicking [+New Message Flow]:

Step 3: In the message flow itself, click on [+Add Message Delay] and it will popup the [Edit Delay]
interface:

Step 4: Click on the button under [Delay Time], and it will pop up an interface where users can select the desired time delay:

Step 5: Select the desired time delay by inputting the numbers in the blank field/box, it can be [Days], [Hours], [Minutes], [Seconds]:

Note: Users can choose to tick ✅ the [Typing Action] box to stimulate human behavior where on the chat will show: “typing...” during display. This step is optional.

Note: Users can choose to tick ✅ the [Cancel message if reply received] box to prevent the subsequent delayed/scheduled message to be sent once recipient has replied. This step is optional.

Step 6: Users can select a message to be sent when the delay is triggered by selecting either [New Message], [Select Existing Message] or [Start Another Flow]:
Once selected this, it will create a connected new message in the flow.

Once selected this, it will let you select an existing message in the current flow.

Once selected this, it will let you select an existing message flows. Hover your cursor over the desired message flows to select.


Step 7: Go back to [Inbox], on the chat, type [/] (quick reply) and send out the message flow: 👇🏻

Messages will be sent out to recipient and the delayed message will appear.
